Imagify partners with SuitX to improve wearable tech intelligence
Berkeley, California – 16 January 2025
Visual technology firm Imagify has entered a partnership with SuitX, a division of Ottobock and a recognized leader in industrial and medical exoskeletons, to enhance the way users interact with wearable robotics.
The collaboration will focus on integrating smart visual feedback and data overlays into SuitX’s modular exoskeleton systems, making them more intuitive for both rehabilitation patients and industrial workers.
With its roots in the University of California, Berkeley, SuitX has developed some of the world’s most adaptable exoskeletons—used in settings ranging from factory floors to clinical rehabilitation centres. Imagify’s involvement brings a new layer of intelligent UX design aimed at improving clarity, safety, and ease-of-use.
“Working with SuitX allows us to explore the intersection of robotics and user experience,” said an Imagify spokesperson. “Our goal is to help users feel more connected and informed through every step of their movement.”
The enhanced interface layer may include visual cues for posture correction, real-time usage statistics, and maintenance alerts—delivered through head-up displays (HUDs), mobile apps, or wearable screens.
SuitX and Imagify both emphasized that the project aligns with strict standards for safety, privacy, and accessibility, and that it remains fully compliant with all relevant industry and platform policies.
The partnership is seen as a step forward in making wearable technology more accessible and human-focused, bridging the gap between robotics and responsive, user-first design.
Further details are expected to be released later this year as the integration enters testing phases.
